When My darling YOU! were throwing one of their first concerts, members from another band brought them face to face with a ingenious query. The question was why they were a duo with pre-recorded compositions and not a band with a traditional set, especially, when it was clearly that MDY! had the ambition to sound like one?

The answer is easy! There is no room for more than Klas and Christoffer in MDY! The atmosphere and the relationship between the two of them (which is the greater part of the concept MDY!) would be spoiled if more people were included.

Klas and Christoffer were brought up in Alingsås, but in the last years have they been at present in Göteborg. It was in the winter of 2003-2004 that Klas moved in to Christoffer's flat. Klas was staying there for one year and during this period the plans for My darling YOU! were founded; a simple, almost minimalist pop-orchestra with straightforward and smart songs. Living, chatting and singing together, often in a drunken state, resulted finally in two recorded and released CD-r.

The consistently theme in songs like "Keep on talking about going out", "New Years Eve" and "A girl in a bar", is love. It is not only about love between the two band members but also their individual love to elements in the world around. Even if it's Klas voice and songs that plead directly to us for MDY!'s sake the difference between what Klas and Christoffer feels and have experienced, is very subtle.
