Springtime 2004. Ramo Spatalovic stands on the roof of a stone-dead Volkswagen Caravelle -92 on Autobahn, outside Kassel in Germany. Touring with Douglas Heart, the bus they borrowed from a friend died several times.

On that roof, with his guitar hanging around his neck, he writes Honey, the song that almost five years later becomes the offset for The Greencoats - and is released on Spring EP with a few other Spatalovic songs.

Shortly after that, Joel Alme recruits Ramo and two other Greencoats, and they record Almes new album and sweep away on an intense tour. But Ramo and The Greencoats manage to spot some time in Sonores Studios (Jonas Ohdner) and they record the first full-length album signed Spatalovic: A Blend Of Silk And Satin.

The result is a wonderful, naive and warm mix of british shoegaze and psychedelic rock.
